About the Role

We’re hiring a Cloud Engineer with deep Azure experience to join a high-impact internal product team supporting mission-critical applications. You’ll work alongside a senior US-based back-end engineer and a Manila-based front-end engineer (Vue 3), bringing essential cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security capabilities into the team.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role where you’ll lead the Azure side of things — from environment provisioning and security hardening to CI/CD pipeline management and reliable platform scaling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage Azure cloud environments

• Own and manage Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment strategies

• Ensure application reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency in the cloud

• Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to deploy and support new features

• Improve cloud monitoring, logging, and incident response processes

• Work cross-functionally with product, security, and IT teams as needed

• Advocate for best practices in cloud-native architecture, security, and automation

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Cosmos DB)

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows

• Solid understanding of cloud security and access control (e.g., RBAC, identity management)

• Exposure to containers (Docker, Azure Container Apps) is a plus

• Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain infrastructure choices clearly

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vue-based deployments or front-end CI/CD

• Development experience with Java/Spring

• Exposure to C#/.NET environments

• Familiarity with cost optimization strategies on Azure

• Experience with monitoring tools like Application Insights, Azure Monitor, or the ELK stack
