The Opportunity
As part of a rapidly expanding Insurance Technology group, the Director of Insurance Platforms will lead the modernization, integration, and ongoing delivery of enterprise systems that power the company’s Insurance BPO services.
This role will shape the roadmap across Subrogation, Claims (immediate priority), UM/Arbitration, Underwriting, Sales, and Service, ensuring every platform is secure, scalable, compliant, and business-aligned.
Your success will be measured by the percentage of legacy systems modernized to cloud platforms, sustained system uptime and performance improvements, measurable reductions in operating cost and cycle time, and visible growth in client-facing platform adoption.

What You’ll Lead
Platform Strategy & Modernization
Define and own a multi-year platform roadmap aligned to enterprise architecture and CIO strategy.
Modernize legacy environments to cloud-native ecosystems (Pega, Azure Fabric, Google BigQuery, Agentic AI, AI Studio, Copilot) to drive scalability and resilience.
Integrate vendor technologies (UiPath, Snorkel AI, Guidewire, GCP, Azure, Rime AI) into a coherent, future-ready stack.
Deliver modernization milestones on schedule with clear ROI metrics for performance, stability, and user adoption.
Platform Enablement & Integration
Ensure seamless data and workflow integration across analytics, automation, and business-process tools.
Build and govern APIs, data pipelines, and interoperability frameworks that improve speed and reliability.
Partner with Analytics teams to strengthen data quality, availability, and performance — targeting measurable throughput gains and latency reductions.
Operational Optimization & Business Value
Work with business and carrier leaders to identify how platform capabilities can reduce cost, shorten claims and recovery cycles, and improve accuracy.
Deliver carrier-facing digital tools and dashboards that deepen client engagement and transparency.
Embed compliance and security by design (SOC 2, NACHA, PCI, NIST AI RMF) into every solution, maintaining audit-ready standards with zero repeat findings.
Transformation & Change Leadership
Champion the adoption of new systems across global Insurance operations, leading structured transformation programs that balance cost, risk, and impact.
Drive workforce enablement through clear communication, training, and change-management initiatives — targeting strong utilization and satisfaction rates within 90 days of each deployment.
Team Leadership & Vendor Partnerships
Build and lead a cross-functional pod (~10 initially, with access to a wider 12–15-person resource pool) covering platform management, architecture, and engineering.
Manage vendor partnerships to maximize ROI and align product roadmaps to enterprise priorities.
Mentor talent and cultivate a culture of reliability, ownership, and continuous improvement, measured through retention, engagement, and delivery outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
You’re a hands-on digital-transformation leader who thrives at the intersection of technology and insurance. You think strategically, act decisively, and measure success by what the platforms you build actually deliver - better speed, lower cost, happier clients, and stronger teams. You’re ready to define the blueprint for the next generation of insurance-technology platforms and lead the people who will bring it to life.
10 + years in Insurance technology platform leadership, with 5 + years in people management.
Deep knowledge of P&C Insurance operations and BPO technology enablement.
Proven success in cloud migrations, platform modernization, and vendor integration.
Hands-on expertise with Pega, Guidewire, Azure/GCP, automation, AI, and analytics ecosystems.
Strong communication skills - able to translate complex technology programs into clear business impact for executives and clients.
