Role Overview
The Director of Facilities provides overall leadership and oversight in facilities management for all Philippines sites, ensuring that support services are effectively managed and administered.
This role is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations, including building systems, workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and budget oversight, to support continuous and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities Operations
Drive and ensure the safe, effective, efficient, and reliable operation of all support facilities and services necessary for the continuous and uninterrupted operations of all Philippines sites.
Maintain building systems including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), power and lighting, emergency power, Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS), sprinkler systems, elevators, building sanitation, and plumbing.
Ensure the total upkeep and cleanliness of all Philippines sites and optimal use of resources.
Security and Access Control
Oversee facilities access control and provide oversight for security personnel on the ground.
Health, Safety, and Compliance
Ensure all Philippines sites follow government and company health and safety requirements, including emergency management, incident and accident reporting, and overall workplace health and safety. Ensure compliance with all government regulatory requirements, including permits, licenses, certifications, and reporting requirements.
Financial Management
Create and monitor the facility’s budget while maintaining delivery of required services within defined standards and parameters.
Leadership and Service Delivery
Provide leadership and guidance in the delivery of facility management services through the timely resolution of customer concerns and effective communication of relevant information.
Who You Are
5–10 years of relevant leadership experience in facilities management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Above average PC knowledge in the use of MS Office and internet applications. Knowledge of profession or position-specific specialized computer software and applications. Functional knowledge in Contact Center Management System (CCMS) or similar tools.
Demonstrated analytical, customer service, and leadership skills. Excellent monitoring, planning, organizing, and project management skills. Above average listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Moderate travel between sites required. Certifications or relevant training in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH/OSH) preferred.
