About Our Client

Our client exists to empower the possibilities of the data-enabled future. In a world where data drives decisions, opportunity, and innovation, the importance of trusted data simply cannot be overstated. When data matters, organizations must be able to trust it—and Master Data Management (MDM) is the path forward-thinking companies take to ensure a trusted data foundation.

They’re looking for a player-coach to lead their Global Alliances function, with a strong emphasis on execution. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll both do the work and lead the team—balancing strategic direction with tactical execution. While you’ll oversee the System Integrator (SI) strategy globally, the primary focus of this role is owning and accelerating the co-sell motion with Microsoft, which represents the largest share of alliance-driven pipeline and revenue.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll be accountable for pipeline and revenue generation through Microsoft and System Integrators. You’ll lead a global team, build scalable execution plans, and work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services to drive measurable results.

This is a great opportunity for a first-time leader ready to step into a high-impact role with global visibility. You’ll be surrounded by experienced executives, supported with resources to succeed, and given the autonomy to shape how the company and its partners go to market. If you're looking to grow into a more senior leadership role by delivering real, revenue-driving impact—this is your moment.

This role is critical to the company’s growth. It is full-time, remote, and global in scope. Travel of up to 50% is expected to stay close to partners, customers, and your team—primarily in North America and Western Europe.

The Opportunity – What You’ll Do

In your first 3 months, you will:

  • Assess the global partner ecosystem and identify soft spots, short-term wins, and pipeline opportunities—especially with Microsoft and key SI partners.

  • Conduct a cross-functional listening tour and establish internal alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Services.

  • Launch quick-win co-sell opportunities and step in with urgency on near-term revenue opportunities.

  • Set a team rhythm with your Partner Account Managers and establish expectations around reporting, KPIs, and engagement models.

By 6 months, you will:

  • Develop and launch scalable co-sell engagement plans with Microsoft—across key plays like Fabric, AI-readiness, Purview, Power Platform, and Azure.

  • Define a global SI strategy, optimize the tier model, and refine lead handoffs, SLAs, onboarding, and contracting frameworks.

  • Build enablement assets and campaign content to support Microsoft and SI co-sell execution at scale.

  • Align partner field activities to internal Sales and Marketing motions, and drive consistent performance visibility.

By 9 months and beyond, you will:

  • Fully own the co-sell calendar and campaign execution across Microsoft verticals and territories.

  • Deepen key SI relationships and scale execution across top and opportunistic partners.

  • Launch partner implementation success plans and track delivery outcomes to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Run QBRs, refine OKRs, and report consistently on partner performance, field engagement, and pipeline ROI.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic alliances or partner/channel roles, with strong exposure to Microsoft co-sell programs.

  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem: GBBs, PAMs, co-sell programs, incentive structures, Azure priorities, Fabric, AI-readiness, Marketplace mechanics.

  • Experience driving partner-led pipeline, revenue, and implementation outcomes in complex B2B environments.

  • Ability to build and lead high-performing teams while staying hands-on and close to the work.

  • Proven experience turning ambiguity into action—translating loose ideas into strategy, and strategy into execution.

  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

  • A collaborative, low-ego working style: kind, humble, and execution-oriented.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • You’ll own a critical, revenue-generating function with global visibility and executive backing.

  • You'll have direct access to Microsoft, with full support to maximize incentives, co-sell motions, and field alignment.

  • You’ll be empowered to lead the strategy and do the work, shaping how partnerships go to market.

  • You'll join a company that believes in kind people, high performance, and building for the long term.

  • You’ll report to a CMO who values clarity, accountability, and results—and who will actively support your growth.
