Overview
An established enterprise AI software vendor is expanding into the Middle East and looking to appoint two experienced sales professionals — one based in Dubai and one in Saudi Arabia. These are newly created, first-on-the-ground roles focused on building a regional client base within industrial verticals such as oil & gas, manufacturing, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
You’ll be joining a high-growth organisation already generating $500M+ in global revenue, with a strong product suite deployed across North America and EMEA. These positions will play a key role in shaping the commercial strategy and go-to-market execution in the Middle East, reporting directly to the regional sales leader.
The Role
Own the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to close, for enterprise clients across the industrial sector
Drive new logo acquisition with a hunter-led mindset and consultative, multi-threaded engagement
Contribute to the regional go-to-market plan, including input into channel/partner strategy and sector prioritisation
Work cross-functionally with global pre-sales, solution delivery, and product teams
Represent a highly credible solution set with proven impact in predictive analytics, operational efficiency, and AI-driven decision support
Navigate complex buying environments, often with 6–12 month sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in enterprise software sales, ideally across AI, data platforms, analytics, or manufacturing tech
Background in selling into heavy industries such as oil & gas, industrial manufacturing, or life sciences
Proven track record of closing high-value, long-cycle deals ($250-300k USD+)
Ability to operate in a lean, fast-moving environment — startup or ‘first on the ground’ experience preferred
Comfortable working without a local delivery team in early stages; resourceful and solution-focused
Based in UAE or Saudi Arabia, or previously lived in-region with intent to relocate back
Fluency in English essential; Arabic a strong advantage
Compensation & Benefits
USD $165k to 175k base salary (can go higher depending on candidate)
Uncapped commission (50/50 split), with accelerators for overperformance
