About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex enterprise software implementations.

This is a hands-on technical architecture role requiring strong coding and engineering capability across Core Java, PL/SQL, and at least one front-end technology: JavaScript, React, or Vue.

Candidates do not need experience with all three front-end technologies. Strong experience with any one of JavaScript, React, or Vue meets the front-end requirement.

You will remain close to the technology, contribute directly to coding and technical problem-solving, and provide detailed guidance across application architecture, development, integrations, databases, front-end technologies, and implementation.

This is also a strongly client-facing position. You will work directly with major enterprise customers alongside Professional Services, product, and engineering teams to understand complex requirements, define technical solutions, and provide architectural leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing

Solution Architecture & Design

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex enterprise software implementations

• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution designs

• Define system architecture, design patterns, integration frameworks, and configuration strategies

• Design scalable enterprise applications capable of supporting complex customer environments

• Provide technical guidance across back-end development, front-end development, integrations, databases, and deployment

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with platform capabilities and client requirements

• Make key technical and architectural decisions throughout the implementation lifecycle

Hands-On Technical Leadership

• Remain hands-on with Core Java, including coding, debugging, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving

• Work extensively with RDBMS, SQL, and PL/SQL within complex enterprise applications

• Work hands-on with at least one of JavaScript, React, or Vue

• Provide technical leadership across application architecture, integrations, database technologies, and front-end development

• Guide engineering teams on software design principles, architecture patterns, coding standards, and development best practices

• Design and support application and system integrations using REST APIs

• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, integrations, databases, and user interfaces

• Review technical designs and code where required to ensure quality and architectural integrity

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work directly with major enterprise clients to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions

• Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, solution reviews, and key implementation checkpoints

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle

• Communicate architectural decisions and complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Provide technical guidance during development, testing, UAT, and production deployment

• Work closely with client technical teams to diagnose issues and resolve implementation challenges

Program Delivery Support

• Collaborate with delivery teams to maintain solution integrity throughout the program lifecycle

• Provide oversight across design validation, system build, testing, UAT readiness, and production cutover

• Support technical risk mitigation and architectural governance for complex implementations

• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges that could impact implementation or production performance

• Work closely with product, engineering, Professional Services, and client teams through deployment and go-live

What We Are Looking For

Critical Technical Skills

Candidates must demonstrate all three of the following core technical areas:

• Core Java: Strong, recent and genuinely hands-on Core Java development experience

• PL/SQL: Strong, hands-on experience with PL/SQL, SQL, and relational databases

• Front End: Strong experience with at least ONE of JavaScript, React, or Vue. Experience with all three is not required

In addition:

• Strong coding, debugging, and technical problem-solving capability

• Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, and design patterns

• Experience designing and working with REST APIs and system integrations

• Ability to remain hands-on technically while providing broader architectural leadership

• Excellent logical and analytical problem-solving skills

• Ability to evaluate complex technical problems and develop practical, scalable solutions

Experience & Background

• 10+ years of experience across enterprise software development, technical architecture, or complex technology implementations

• Strong background in hands-on software engineering, with continued coding involvement in recent roles

• Experience designing and delivering large-scale enterprise solutions

• Strong understanding of system integration and enterprise application architecture

• Experience working across architecture, engineering, integration, database, front-end, and enterprise deployment activities

• Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to lead complex discussions across business and technical stakeholders

• Experience collaborating with product, engineering, Professional Services, delivery, and client teams

• Understanding of cloud platforms and modern enterprise application environments

• Experience working with complex enterprise software products or platforms is highly desirable

Nice to Have

• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise transformation or software implementation programs

• Background in enterprise data architecture and integration

• Experience with AI, analytics, optimisation, or other data-intensive enterprise applications

• Experience supporting UAT, testing, deployment, and production go-live

• Experience mentoring engineering teams and providing technical design guidance
