About the Role
My client is seeking a strategic, experienced HR executive to lead and elevate the Human Resources function across their Philippine operations. This individual will oversee all facets of the people strategy including HR operations, talent management, employee relations, engagement, and organizational development in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
As the most senior HR leader in the Philippines, the VP will serve as a trusted advisor to site and regional leaders, and a key member of the global HR leadership team, ensuring alignment between business goals and HR strategies across thousands of employees in multiple delivery centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
Serve as the primary HR executive for the Philippines business.
Shape and execute the local people strategy in alignment with global business goals.
Partner closely with executive leadership to advise on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and long-term talent strategy.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
Oversee employee and labor relations strategy.
Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
Lead high-risk case management and policy development with integrity and consistency.
HR Operations & Service Delivery:
Drive efficiency and excellence in core HR operations, including onboarding, data management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across shared services and HR delivery models.
Talent Management & Development:
Partner with global counterparts to roll out programs in leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.
Champion internal mobility, skills development, and a high-performance culture.
Organizational Culture & Engagement:
Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Drive culture-shaping activities that reinforce inclusion, accountability, and employee voice.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and mentor a diverse team of HR professionals across multiple locations.
Develop internal HR capability and succession for key roles.
Qualifications & Experience:
15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5+ years in a top country-level HR role.
Prior experience in the BPO, shared services, or fast-scaling global organizations preferred.
Deep understanding of Philippine labor law, employment relations, and compliance practices.
Proven track record of building strong, credible partnerships with senior business leaders.
Experience leading through complexity, ambiguity, and large-scale change.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
