‍About the Role

As the Vice President, HR Business Partner for the Philippines, you will be a key leader driving strategic HR initiatives for thousands of employees across multiple sites. Reporting directly to the Global Head of HR in the US, this role requires a visionary HR Executive with a proven track record of:

  • Driving cultural transformation and fostering an inclusive organizational culture.
  • Enhancing employee engagement and retention through strategic HR programs.
  • Delivering measurable improvements in human capital metrics such as internal promotion rates, attrition, performance, and productivity.

This position requires a forward-thinking leader who can align HR strategies with business goals, implement data-driven approaches to workforce planning, and influence C-level executives while delivering impactful solutions that drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Design and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring talent optimization and organizational effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, providing insights and recommendations that shape business outcomes.
  • Drive HR’s contribution to business success through innovative, strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Talent Management Leadership

  • Play a key role in the strategy driving succession planning, leadership development, and employee growth.
  • Deploy talent strategies that deliver measurable improvements, including
  • Employee Engagement: Increasing engagement scores and fostering a high-performing, motivated workforce.
  • Retention Rates: Reducing employee turnover through targeted retention strategies.
  • Performance Metrics: Enhancing employee productivity and business outcomes through effective performance management.
  • Ensure programs support career progression and internal promotion, aligning talent development with organizational needs.

Cultural Transformation

  • Champion cultural change initiatives to create an inclusive, collaborative, and dynamic work environment.
  • Foster a unified organizational identity that supports employee engagement and enhances workforce satisfaction.

Team Leadership

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing HR team capable of delivering innovative solutions and measurable results.
  • Mentor HR leaders, creating a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous professional growth.

Data-Driven Insights

  • Utilize HR analytics and workforce metrics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage technology and data to optimize HR processes, track progress, and measure program success.

Change Management

  • Lead organizational change initiatives with a focus on communication, employee experience, and measurable outcomes.
  • Guide teams through transformations, ensuring smooth transitions and sustained improvement.

Compliance and Policy Development

  • Ensure adherence to all Philippine labor laws and regulations while adopting global best practices.
  • Proactively update company policies to reflect legal changes, industry trends, and employee needs.

Eligibility and Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of strategic HR leadership experience in the Philippines, with a successful history of aligning HR programs with business goals.
  • Proven expertise in driving engagement, reducing attrition, and improving workforce productivity.
  • Experience leading and managing Talent Management Centers of Excellence (COE) would be highly desired.
  • Experience managing large teams and high-volume operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven success in leading cultural transformation and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Exceptional ability to design and implement HR programs that drive measurable results.
